New Is Coming

A message from Neale...

Dear dear friend,
There is something remarkable happening in our world right now—and some people are calling it a “financial meltdown.” What I am seeing is something quite different, and I wonder if you’re seeing the same thing…

I am seeing a re-arranging of our life priorities—and I am seeing that rearranging as something that is happening for the better. Let me tell you about a man I ran into just the other day, may I?

We were talking about the money crunch right now and how his family was doing some belt-tightening. “We’re not eating out these days, we’re not going to the movies or over to the bowling alley. Our family is looking for more things that we can do together at home. We’re getting the board games out again—and that has been a source of real fun.”

Wow. Family members are discovering each other again. I thought, that is just so great.

I don’t think any of this is by “accident.” I think that our society, worldwide, is deciding something new about itself. I think we are deciding that it’s not about all the “stuff.” It’s not about the cars and the houses and the clothes and the trinkets. It’s about each other.

…and it’s about the journey of the soul and our relationship to Life Itself (in my personal vocabulary, I call that I believe we’ve come here to be with each other, and to be with each other in a particular way for a particular reason.

I think we’ve come here to inspire each other and remind each other of the greatest truths and of what’s truly so, of who we really are and who we are capable of becoming.

There are a lot of ways we can do this, and in our own homes. We can do it by being present with each other—really present with another’s experience, feelings, hopes, and dreams. And their fears, too. And we can share with them all about our own. We can also share humanity’s story, in a way that uplifts and inspires.

Love, Your Friend....

I needed to read this message. We as a family are living more of a simple life. Our connection and conversation are better, they are more intimate. I hope there are many others living the same way. Sometimes we forget whats really important and need to be reminded. Everything is in Divine Order. God really has great things in store for us all. How can we believe this if we don't take the time to notice? Belief is a neccesity in your daily life. Take time to notice your family, their interests, their desires. You may find deep appreciation and experience the true gifts of our lives.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you all!

Remember to look ahead...

"No effort is ever wasted.
Do not imagine that you "wasted your time" because
something didn't turn out right. There is no such thing
as "waste" in the Universe. Everything -- everything --
yields benefit.
It's true. And your life will show you this. So don't
decry the "effort that failed." All things lead to your
highest good. You just may not know it yet."
-Neale Donald Walsh

Remember we operate with the Natural Law of Attraction which says, "Like Attracts Like."

You draw to yourself that which is like yourself. I would rather attract joy than the lack of joy.

Daily Cue, Reminder, Vow, Blessing
• Passing a smiling person on the street is my cue to practice joy.
• Whenever I see people dancing at a party, I am reminded to release the joy that resides in me.
• Knowing how much pleasure there is in making others happy, I vow to practice joy.
• Blessed is Lady Wisdom who draws an abundance of joy from our souls.

Personalized Message from Neale

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
.....that he who eats till he is sick must fast till he is well.

That is a Hebrew proverb, and it has to do with a lot
more than food. Look to see what behaviors you are
indulging in over and over again that are clearly not
serving you. Then, go on a "bad habit diet."

I mean it. I'm not kidding, Pick one bad habit, one
bad behavior, a day for five days. You can do this.
Stop doing the stuff you're doing that obviously
does not serve you--or others.

This friendly "nudge" came from your Self, you know...

Love, Your Friend....

Sweet Mei

My niece will have her 4th surgery this morning. I worry for her and the family. It's second nature for me to be comforting, reassuring, and supportive for friends during hard times. But when its me or my family, I'm not as clear minded or confident. Thats when I too, seek out support from others.

God give us strength and understanding and send us the angels needed to get through these times.

My Favorite Thing

This is hard. Though I love many things, and I had to pick just one. I'd say I love my recorder. I use it for affirmations and prayers. I also have an MP3 player on it which I use to download workout music. I also use it to record AP lectures. I use my recorder at least twice day. It is so thin and compact. I doesn't get in my way when I work out. I listen to my evening meditation right before I go to bed. I love it!!! I would highly recommend it.

30 is not so bad

I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. It had been a long time since I had been out. So I was long overdue for a night out. I turned 30 yesterday and received funny messages, birthday wishes, talked to many friends, got my hair done, and had a great time at the Pub last night. The band was awesome, they gave me a few "shout outs" , and sang me Happy Birthday, Poo Live Crew style. I did alot of laughing, and hung out with friends I hadn't seen in years. And my dearest friend, who never goes out, went out to celebrate with me. She made all the difference in the world. She loves to suprise me, embarrass me in a good way, and kept me laughing taking crazy pictures. And even though I had tons of fun, there is no way in the world I could choose a "party life" over the life I have now. Last night I missed my kids. They are out staying with their uncle, aunt, and cousin for a few days. I came home last night to a decorated doorway, over the hill gifts in my mailbox, and got showered with glitter as I open the screen door. After a night of drinking, I was not expecting that! Going to bed last night, I felt so thankful for the blessings they have brought into my life. I woke up early this morning after being out late last night, because the house is quiet. I thank God for all I have and most importantly the ones who love and support me. My dear friend who has been with me through the good and bad times since my childhood in church and cathecism. Always grateful.

Spring Break

This week I will be finishing out the rest of my scheduled readings. I will finally start break next week. I will stay focused on my top priorities and practice the law of giving and receiving, (offering one free reading a month). This should make my schedule less stressful until I am done with school. This week is MidTerms week. I think I will do great for my tests. I am more of a devoted student this semester than I was last semester. I will be glad when this week is over.
(This pic above is The Chicago River its dyed green each year for the St. Patrick's Day celebration. I can actually say I've been there, last year for my birthday weekend.)

I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.

We will miss you Anthony, and you will Always be Loved!!!
